Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman is an American superhero television series based on the DC Comics character Superman created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. It stars Dean Cain as Clark Kent / Superman and Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane. The series aired on ABC from September 12, 1993, to June 14, 1997.
 Developed for television by Deborah Joy LeVine, the series loosely followed the modern origin of Superman, established by writer John Byrne, in which Clark Kent is the true personality and Superman a disguise. My wife and I used to watch this show from 1993 until the unexpected, cliff-hanging episode on June 14, 1997. Thankfully, the show was fun enough to re-watch over and over as we have all four seasons on DVD. It is just too bad they did not at least make a TV movie or two in order to wrap up the story.
I think this show had the best cast. K Kalian as Martha Kent was THE BEST!
What is amazing about this show is that it went off the air 26 years ago after only 4 seasons, yet the Lois & Clark Fan Fiction Archive is still receiving new stories as of 2023! Check it out at http://www.lcfanfic.com.
