This is a good upgrade even if you are not going to use them as they add some features to Windows 98/ME that other applications might need. Some applications won’t install unless Internet Explorer 6 or above is already installed. Of course, not even this browser can browse the modern Internet without help. It cannot do secure connections such as SSL required for HTTPS connections. |
